Increase your knowledge over winter by getting along to sessions run by the newly renamed Building Institute Aotearoa, formerly NZIOB.

A seasonal series of educational events gets underway next month, thanks to the newly named Building Institute Aotearoa, formerly NZIOB, and CARTERS.

Following on from the success of the 2024 Building Legends workshops nationwide, the 2025 winter Building Legends programme is set to elevate your building business with industry experts sharing lessons and insights on a range of topics in a half day workshop.

Join the upcoming workshop on optimising delivery models with a focus on Early Contractor Involvement (ECI). In it, we’ll explore key considerations, challenges, and best practices for successful project outcomes. Topics include understanding ECI, selecting the right delivery model, managing supply chain issues, and effective contractor engagement.

Industry experts will share lessons learned and insights on design impact, subcontractor coordination, and tendering. Speakers include professionals from Naylor Love, RBL, and client-side representatives.

Sessions will be held in Christchurch and Auckland, featuring expert discussions from contractors, project managers, and quantity surveyors.
