If you’re considering becoming licenced, you’re still welcome to come along to the events but you must currently hold your licence to gain the LBP points from attending.

Reading Trade Leader can contribute to your LBP Skills Maintenance requirements. Every hour of educational learning is equal to 1 LBP point. Subscribe today.
Recording your points
To maintain your licence, you need to complete and submit your learning records every two years. We know keeping up with paperwork can be a challenge, so we've made it easier. Pick up a Record of Work book from your local CARTERS branch. It contains triplicate copies of the memorandum form, allowing you to provide a copy to the building owner, the council, and keep a record for yourself.
There is also space at the back of your CARTERS Trade Diary to record activity and you can also submit details online through MBIE's Skills Maintenance site.
