Customers were welcomed to a trade breakfast last month to mark the completion of Westport's new-look CARTERS store.
Enjoying bacon and fresh brews, customers were able to wander around the new and refreshed Derby Street site following its year-long upgrade.
Westport Branch Manager Phil Gower was pleased to be able to open the doors to CARTERS' customers old and new. "We now have a much more modern building, with better workflow for customers' and staff use. I'm pleased we can now offer a better customer experience to people in the Westport area."
The project has been in the pipeline since Feb 2023 when concept designs were drawn up to transform the existing building, and plenty of work has taken place on site since December. "It was pretty full on getting it all ready for the opening, but now it's finished, it really is great for our staff and customers."
As well as a fresh exterior and new interior design making the branch more welcoming to customers, a new lunchroom is proving a hit with the store's staff of ten, Phil said. He invites people to head along and see for themselves – during winter you may even find a hot soup to warm yourself up!
